II. SUCCESSFUL GROWTH
The thrill – and the panic – of starting a new publishing house is followed by very real challenges of how to grow successfully. Where are you going to find both sufficient capital and highly talented people? With your growth to be organic – growing from within? Or will your growth come through acquisition? If growth comes through acquisition, how will you bring harmony to the organization? How will you achieve genuine synergy? Is your goal to be the best in your niche and strive for market
share dominance, or will you expand into multiple areas?
